ABOUT TUNAI TIGIRIS AQUA SALT - TUNAI Tigiris Aqua Salt is extremely versatile as it has antibacterial properties. It can be used to create BRACKISH WATER condition for species such as MOLLIES which prefer Fresh and Salt Water. 1 Rounded Tablespoon is enough for every 45 Litres of Aquarium water. The presence of salt in the water inhibits algae, keeping the tank free of green slimy stuff on the glass.
USING TUNAI TIGIRIS AQUA SALT TO COMBAT INFECTIONS - TUNAI Tigiris Aqua Salt helps the fish to combat existing infections and prevent them from recurring. TUNAI Tigiris Aqua Salt can be used for the treatment of Ich and velvet, also aids in the healing process for the same. TUNAI Tigiris Aqua Salt helps the fish to ease the rotting of fins and also can be used to reduce Ammonia and Nitrate when transporting fish.
HOW TO USE TUNAI TIGIRIS AQUA SALT TO TREAT PARASITES? A dip entails putting the affected fish in a salt and de-chlorinated tap water solution for up to 30 minutes before returning the fish to your main tank. To make a saltwater dip, make up a solution of one tablespoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water. Place the fish into the salt dip for five to eight minutes, no longer. Acclimate the fish for two to three minutes before replacing it in your main tank.
A SALT BATH WITH TUNAI TIGIRIS AQUA SALT - A Salt bath means that you are treating the whole tank. Salt baths are generally used for treating stress, and some parasites. Use a lower concentration of salt than a dip. If necessary, a bath treatment can be maintained for up to three weeks. Use stress coat products, which can be just as effective and are safe to use in a planted tank.
ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND - Certain scale less fish species lack the barrier provided by scales, and they don’t tolerate salt very well. Avoid using salt if you have Corydoras catfish, tetras, or other scale less species in your tank, as these species are intolerant of salt. Salt should always be completely dissolved in de-chlorinated water as it can burn the fish's body should it come in contact with salt crystals.
